There are several different types of dermal fillers. The most widely used filler in the United States is a hyaluronic acid (HA) filler. Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring substance found in the body that helps maintain skin hydration and volume. When HA fillers are injected, they plump up the area that was injected. The effects are not permanent, but depend on the individual factors, the area of injection, and which HA filler that was used.

You and D.J. will discuss your goals and develop a treatment plan. Your face will be cleansed and then numbing cream will be applied to treatment area for about 15 minutes. The cream will then be removed from the treatment area and be cleansed. Most clients do not experience discomfort, but can feel pressure. Bruising, swelling, and/or redness can occur, but resolve in a few days (for some it may take one week).
